SpeedTouch SDSL Router - Factory Reset

Hardware Resetting the SpeedTouch 610s

If you require access to your SpeedTouch Router but cannot remember your admin ?username/password, or need to erase a configuration you may need to perform a hardware reset.

The following shows you how to do this:

1. Make sure the SpeedTouch is powered off.
2. Put dip switch #4 on the back of the router into the up position.
3. Turn the router on.
4. Wait for 1 minute.
5. Place dip switch #4 back to the down position.
6. The SpeedTouch will now be in its factory default settings. Resetting the system to its factory defaults also involves deleting the configuration profile settings. You will need to reconfigure the system using the SpeedTouch Setup wizard (510 / 610) or by re-entering you ISP info in the PPP configuration page (PRO).
