Port blocking on the Opal network

Generally speaking altohiway wherever possible does not block traffic except for the following exceptions, however for the protection of our customers and other internet organisations some specific filtering is applied at the network edge.

All data inbound into altohiway's network from outside altohiway's network on the following ports is blocked; these are for security reasons:

protocols 53, 55, 77 and pim

tftp

snmp

snmptrap

netbios-ns

netbios-ss

netbios-dgm

tcp/udp port 135

tcp port 139

tcp port 161

tcp port 162

tcp/udp port 199

tcp port 445

tcp port 593

udp port 1434

tcp/udp port 1993

Outbound data from altohiway's network to the internet is restricted on the following ports:

snmp

snmptrap

tcp port 161

tcp port 162

tcp/udp port 199

tcp/udp port 1993

udp port 8998
